“Middleport Office”
Middleport, NY Barden and Robeson’s Board of Directors officially announced a major expansion with a new, modern, high-tech office complex in Niagara County, in the town where they have resided for over 50 years. Once again investing locally, this jewel of a facility will be built right on Route 31 on the southeast side of town - giving the company a showcase on the major artery to promote itself throughout Western NY, Ontario CA and the Midwest.
It will house the corporate accounting staff, the commercial and church groups, the pricing departments and incorporate industry-leading technology throughout the building. It will have a beautiful brick veneer and siding exterior, a garden wall and covered patios, in addition to over 1200 LF of new roads and infrastructure. The facility will have over 30 offices, multiple conference rooms, an employee lounge and library, plus fitness and shower amenities, accented by striking hardwood and tile flooring throughout.
The new facility will replace the older structure on Kelly Avenue and will also include a 36 acre business park with the installation of an infrastructure for the development of 12 commercial lots. This continued growth follows the major 2004 expansion when they invested over 8 million dollars in both their Middleport and Tully locations. GreenTree Builders, the construction division for Barden, will be the contractor-developer and build the 14,000 square foot office complex at an investment of $1,200,000.
Barden and Robeson is one of the Northeast’s leading manufacturers of custom, precision designed homes, churches and commercial buildings. It ships throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the Midwest, and now Canada with their 2005 entry into the International markets, through a network of more than 275 company-trained, independent dealers. Dealers work with homeowners to provide support and guidance in scheduling and managing subcontractors. Construction financing, as well as permanent mortgages, are available to qualified buyers through third-party providers such as the Robar General Funding Corporation.
The company started in 1909 as a manufacturer of wagon wheels and has evolved over the years to meet new and unique market needs. Over the years, the company has put its woodworking skills to use building bushel baskets for the fruit-growing trade, located throughout the Finger Lakes region, and ammunition boxes for the United States Armed Forces and its allies during World War II. In the home-building era that followed the war, Barden and Robeson moved into the home construction market. Barden Homes manufactures custom, precision designed, “panelized” homes, churches and commercial buildings that yield significant savings in both material and labor costs. These processes, pioneered in part by Barden Homes, reflect the company’s continued commitment to the “panelization” manufacturing process, projected by industry sources to represent almost 80% of all construction within the next 20 years. Today, the Barden and Robeson Corporation still has its family owned roots and is committed to making the dreams that help America grow. Please call us for more information at 1-800-724-0141.
